I am not one to usually dwell on plot holes, inconsistencies, or errors in films. I just want to be entertained and see my favorite comic book characters come to life. However, it is fun sometimes to look at the absurdness of some plot twists and cinematic errors in film making. The guys at CinemaSins have done just that and give us a glimpse of just exactly was wrong with The Dark Knight Rises in 3 minutes flat. But seriously folks, was anyone really bothered by these faux pas?

The Dark Knight Rises Lego Trailer (Video)
I loved Legos as a kid and always dreamed of them making Batman, Super Heroes, and Star Wars versions. Sometimes I amaze myself with toys I would dream up to have them become a reality years later. Gosh I missed my calling.

Free TDRK Battle For Gotham City Action Figure Set
I absolutely loved The Dark Knight Rises and I have already seen it twice in it's three week run so far. I will probably see it one more time in IMAX at least before I wait with anticipation of the Blu Ray/DVD release. I am not sure what it is about the final Batman film for Christopher Nolan and team, but it is almost addicting for me. Maybe its Anne Hathaway's portrayal of Selina Kyle AKA Catwoman. Can I get a MEOW!

Variations of Man of Steel Trailer Premiere With The Dark Knight Rises
I had the chance to see the highly anticipated The Dark Knight Rises this past weekend and loved it. I've had the pleasure of chatting about the film with fellow Bat-fans like Eric Stettmeier of Toyriffic fame and Mike from The Sexy Geek's House of Swag and it's great to hear everyone's take on the movie. I'd love to hear what everyone else's thoughts are as soon as you've had a chance to see the movie. Before the latest Batman movie began, I was also excited to see the first glimpse at the Christopher Nolan produced Superman film, Man of Steel.

Old Navy The Dark Knight Rises Free Bat-Signal Flashlight Promotion
I had to restrain myself from buying a Batman Tee at Old Navy today. I either had the shirts they were offering or the other options just weren't peaking my interest. However, with passing on the T-shirts, I was also passing a on a chance to get a FREE Bat-Signal Flashlight.
Just for buying any adult or kids Batman tee, you can get a bat-signal flashlight for free. Part of me feels I should just go ahead and pick up a shirt so I can get the flashlight. Maybe I can give the t-shirt away here at The Batcave Toy Room if I don't want it.
That reminds me. The Batcave Toy Room Free T-shirt promo is still going on until the end of July. Be sure to get in on it.

Buy The Target Exclusive Battle For Gotham City Get A Free Ticket For The Dark Knight Rises
Toys for The Dark Knight Rises have begun hitting stores. Recently, Jboypacman, author of Revenge From The Cosmic Ark, shared with us his new Caped Crusader Batman action figure from the new line of toys and I have been mildly excited about the new action figures and vehicles. However, when I saw the Battle For Gotham City including an Anne Hathaway Catwoman action figure, I just had to have it.
Eric, (AKA BubbaShelby) from Toyriffic, expressed his interest in this action figure set as well and has theorized that this may be the only way to obtain a Catwoman in this scale. Eric is generally right on when it comes to toys...give or take. However, I really feel that Mattel would be missing a huge opportunity only offering the feline fatale only at Target.
The set comes with five action figures as follows:
Bane battles Batman for the sole of Gotham City. Powerful, Menacing, and filled with rage. Bane is prepared to do whatever it takes to destroy The Dark Knight. Caped Crusader Batman, which is a slightly different version of Jboypacman's, is the final solution for the citizens of Gotham City - The only thing standing between Bane and the city's destruction.
Bruce Wayne - As Batman, billionaire Bruce Wayne helps to protect the ravaged Gotham City from becoming a wasteland at the hands of Bane and his villainous henchman.
Stealth Vision Batman - Batman hunts his nemesis through jet-black alleyways and dark underground tunnels to overcome the blinding darkness. He relies on his Wayne Tech Stealth Vision equipment.
Catwoman - As Bane and Batman battle for the soul of Gotham City, clandestine thief Catwoman prowls the rooftops and alleys in search of adventure, ultimately facing off against The Dark Knight.
One of the best parts of this action figure set is it has a free movie ticket toward The Dark Knight Rises with a $20 Mattel Batman toy purchase. So, if your going to stock up up on the new The Dark Knight Rises toys you'll get to see the movie for free too. Is it July yet?

The Dark Knight Rises Toys Found at Target
I find it increasingly hard to focus primarily on vintage toys for my toy collection. There are so many cool toys these days, I have been considering concentrating on a modern series of toys. Something like collecting the updated vintage addition of Star Wars toys, but even the new Batman toys are extremely appealing to me. Especially, The Dark Knight Rises toys that are starting to surface.
This Target exclusive Battle For Gotham City was this close from leaving the store with me. I absolutely love the Catwoman figure.
This Attack Armor Bat-Pod looks like a lot of fun. I might need to make space for Dark Knight Rises section in The Batcave Toy Room. Juices are flowing. Stay tuned.

The Dark Knight Rises Has A Secret...
A secret poster that is. Recently Warner Brothers released the latest movie posters for The Dark Knight Rises, but one was left in the shadows. Only by entering a secret code on the official site were you able to view this little gem and now you can see it at The Batcave Toy Room. I think it captures the love hate relationship between Batman and Catwoman perfectly. We're getting closer. I can't wait to see this movie.

Fire Is Definitely Rising In The New Dark Knight Rises Poster
We are less than two months away from the premiere of latest installment of Christopher Nolan's Batman franchise, The Dark Knight Rises. Recently we saw what probably be will the last updated trailer for the film and now we get to see the latest and greatest poster. It is very similar to the first version of The Dark Knight Rises teaser poster and is now bringing this film series full circle. I think this poster looks pretty sweet and wish I had room to hang in the toy room. Is any one else planning on playing hooky like I am when The Dark Knight Rises on July 20?

Super Cool TDKR Opening Credits
The Dark Knight Rises - Opening Credits Project from Doğan Can Gündoğdu on Vimeo.
Check out this awesome opening credits for The Dark Knight Rises made by Batman Fan Dogan Can Gundogdu. The video doesn't use any footage from The Dark Knight Rises trailers, but does use stills from the upcoming movie. It has the feel of a crime/drama movie to me.
The theme music used is from Massive Attack and is called "Suck Me Up Dub." Dogan Can Gundogdu created and composited the sequence, while Gunisgi Cihangir did the modeling animation.
I love the use of the smashed cowl from the Bane Teaser posters at the end.
The Dark Knight Rises opens July 20.

Kapow Twihards! The Dark Knight is #1 on IMBD
The Geek World gives Tweens the old on two.
The all time best Batman movie, The Dark Knight, of course The Dark Knight Rises may give it a run for it's money, is officially the most searched movie on the Internet Movie Database site.
The Dark Knight blew away Twilight and Harry Potter films for the number one spot. With the new Batman movie just a short (from here to eternity) six months away, it is probably no wonder that the film is getting a lot of attention.
Not to be undone, Christian Bale is #8 for the most searched actor and The Dark Knight Rises is the #1 most anticipated movie.
The Dark Knight Rises Opens July 20, 2012. I can't wait. How about you?

Holy Kitty Litter! Anne Hathtaway's Catwoman Costume Has Ears After All In The Dark Knight Rises
If anyone was disappointed that Anne Hathaway's Catwoman costume wasn't very cat-like based on the initial photos of her...be dissappointed no more. The latest pics from The Dark Knight Rises reveal Anne's costume is very Julie Newmar Catwoman like. Check out the pics below along with Christian Bale as Batman.
