Adventures in Cosplay from Wizard World Las Vegas 2015

Coming hot off the heels of last week's Star Wars Celebration and still having vision's of bikini clad Slave Leia's in my head, I ventured into another Con this weekend filled with costumed conventioneers at Wizard World Las Vegas 2015.

The freshman appearance of Wizard World this year is joining the ranks of other Comic Cons like Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con and the Las Vegas Comic Expo in Las Vegas's ever growing hunger for geek culture.

In true Geek form, cosplayers came dressed in their best and came armed once again with their talents of creativity, ingenuity, and many times with the personalities of the characters they are portraying. Here's a look at what we saw.

Tickets for Batman Live go on Sale March 23, 2012 in Las Vegas

Gotham comes to Las Vegas! I've been looking forward to Batman Live ever since I caught wind of it over at Bat-Blog.com. I had kind of forgotten about it for awhile, but now it is not only coming to the United States, but my hometown of Las Vegas.


I actually have my oldest daughter to thank for the reminder as while she was in the doctor's waiting room with my super cool, but non-geek wife, she began yelling at the TV, "Look mama, look, Batman!" My wife then promptly texted and me let me know it was coming to town.


So this October I will be taking my wife, eldest daughter, my nephew and two nieces to see Batman in action live. Can't wait.

Batman Gets Beat Up in Las Vegas

I have been working on my quest for a cowl and have thought about walking down the Vegas Strip myself for fun, but this is totally uncool. Some tourist picking a fight with Batman and then body slamming him. This dude needs a serious dose of batarang. A lot of people don't like Robin, but if this guy had a sidekick, he would have some back up. Plus what's up with the citizens of Las Vegas not coming to the aid of Batman?
