Looks Who's Back In The Batcave

I am back from the one of the most relaxing vacations I have ever had and ready to talk toys and other pop culture goodness.

This vacation was really about family and spending quality time together, but I did take some time for myself, while my super cool, yet non-geek wife had a girls day with her Mom and our daughter.

I spent that day scouring the Toy R Us, Targets, and Malls in Myrtle Beach in hopes to find some Batman TV series toys with no luck, but I did see some cool things while I was on my hunt.

Kryptonite Character Store in Myrtle Beach
I came across a pop culture store called Kryptonite that had Super Hero and Sci-fi collectibles galore. They had tons of statues and figurines not mention T-shirts, cups, wallets, magnets, and every kind household ware you can think of, but not too many toys.

There was I time when I wanted anything with Batman on it, but right now I am all about vintage, which I still consider the upcoming Batman TV series toys to be vintage, but even though Kryptonite was a cool store and fun to look around I didn't pick up anything.

Batman backpack available at Hot Topic
I also stopped into Hot Topic to see if there any cool Batman T-shirts I might want to pick up, but nothing grabbed me. However, I did see this cool backpack that I might want to pick up one day. I especially like the mock utility belt pouches.

Anyway, it's great to be back. More about the Amazing Las Vegas Comic-Com, Batman TV series toys, and a look at the finished Batcave Toy Room still to come.
