Star Wars Day at Disneyland

Star Tours re-opens at Disneyland in California on June 3. The original ride opened in 1987 and I remember it like yesterday. Of course I still have the travel poster of the planets from the Star Wars Universe that were available in the Star Tours gift shop over twenty years ago.

The new ride will include 54 different scenarios. So, you will unlikely get the same ride twice. Unfortunately, the ride was still being revamped when I was there, but gives me the perfect excuse to make another trip when it does open. Here's a sneak peek below.

Although, Star Tours was not re-opened I was able to head over to the Lego store in downtown Disney. I ventured over to the Star Wars section, which had these Lego's along with the current Batman versions they currently sell, I would have been in complete bliss if these had been available when I was a kid.

Here's a look at some of the awesome displays they had of the Star Wars Lego sets.

Me Chillin' with Vader. I know what you're thinking. Man that dude is big (Vader I mean)

Imperial Shuttle
Death Star
Enough power to destroy an entire planet
The Lego sets a really cool, but a little too expensive for my blood, but who can put a price on bliss? Still had an awesome time as usual and besides The Batcave Toy Room, Disneyland is definitely the happiest place on Earth.
