Cool and Collected Magazine Is Stretching It A bit

It's a no brainer that Cool and Collected - The Magazine has met its Kickstarter funding goal. Not only did it meet its goal of the necessary $6,000 that it needed to go to print, it did it with still 7 days left to go and the funds keep pouring in.

So, what's a publisher like Brian Adams to do with extra contributions? Put it towards issue #2 of course.

If the funding level reaches $7,500.00, every backer who signed up to receive a copy of the magazine will also receive a free PDF download of the second issue.

So, double your pleasure and contribute to this sorely needed pop culture magazine The fact that this campaign reached it's goal so quickly goes to show that not only is there a great interest in the subject matter, but the knowledge that Brian will be producing a quality publication.

There's just three days left to go. Let's make this happen and get to issue number two and beyond.

About the author: John Sholtz is an avid toy collector and the interim editor of the Batcave Toy Room due to the abrupt death of Bruce Wayne. Learn more about him here and connect with him on Twitter at, Facebook, Google+ and LinkedIn.

  1. Hmm...I need to find out how that kickstarter thing works. I have been wanting to put a lifesized King Kong on the edge of my building at Monster Cafe Saltillo but do not have the funds.

  2. It sucks that they don't ship to Canada or I would have been all over this one. I miss a good magazine like Toyfare. I wish the boys nothing but the best. I wish I could be more involved in the project.
