League of Extraordinary Bloggers Assignment: Trading Post

Well gang I am back from vacation with goals and dreams and my mind running a million miles an hour. However, I came back with tons to do and allergies and not to mention being sick on top of it.

I have lots to talk about, but what was intended as a state of the site post for March will now be moved to April, but one of my goals is get more involved with the League of Extraordinary Bloggers assignments. So, here it goes with an awesome idea from fellow Dork Horde member Team Hellions to do a trading post post.

I am going to be wrapping up purging the the Batcave Toy Room and so I figured I would throw up a couple of items that are going to be included in the purge.

First up is one of my all time loves, the Rebel Armored Snowspeeder. You can find this baby on my 10 Star Wars Toys I want back in my toy collection wishlist. I bought one for myself and simultaneously my super cool, yet non-geek wife bought one for me too. Isn't she great supporting my geek habit like that.

Anyway one of the two rebel defense vehicles is up for grabs. The harpoon assembly is missing, what else is new with this toy? However, it does have a decent box. Make me an offer or if you have something you think I might like as a trade let me know.

Next up for grabs are these replica Batman TV series batarang and bat-communicator. I have had these for about 25 years and I've been meaning to clean them up a bit, but I am willing to part with these pieces of Bat-equipment. The TV series toys are coming soon.

There are some other really cool items out there. Check these out: vintage Kenner Indiana Jones action figure, Catwoman comic books,  some Star Wars radio drama,  and I sure love me some Jennifer Lawrence Katniss, my mouth is watering.

  1. That Snowspeeder is on my list as well. Makes me want to move somewhere snowy so I can take pics of one.

  3. The bat-ccessories are amazing! But not really something I collect. Although I don't know (if I owned them) that I could ever let them go!

  4. What is the size of those bat accessories? Are they character size or human size?

    1. The batarang and bat-communicator are human size Cal. They are replicas cast from the original props used by Adam West and Burt Ward for the Batman TV series.

  5. How much were you asking for the Batarang and Bat-communicator? Or were you just interested in trades?
