Batman Arkham City: Legacy Edition Batman (Arkham City - Batsuit)

I received a $5 off coupon from Mattel with my Retro-Action DC Super Heroes Kyle Rayner for any DC Universe action figure and it burned one heck of a hole in my pocket. There were quite a few figures that I thought were cool, but I really wanted one from the Batman Family, but there were none to be found and everything else I just wasn't feeling.

A couple of weeks ago Revenge From the Cosmic Ark posted pics of this Arkham City Legacy Edition Batman and I knew that was the one I had been looking for. I scoured my nearest Toys R Us and Target stores, but always left empty handed. I decided to make this a personal mission to find this figure and get it into my life. There was one last Toy R Us I needed to hit. It is clear across town for me, but I had so much luck at getting toys I had been looking for at that store I decided to go check it out.

I was alone, I took a ride, I didn't know, what I would find there, another road where maybe I could see another kind of toy there.

Ooh, then I suddenly see you, Ooh, did I tell you I need you, every single day of my life.

Ooh, you were meant to be near me, Ooh, and I want you hear me say we'll be together every day, got to get you into my life.

Can you tell I really like this Batman action figure? I am also no doubt a Beatles fan.

From the back of the blister card: CELEBRATE THE LEGACY OF BATMAN! DC Universe proudly presents the Batman Legacy Edition. Each figure features meticulous design, deluxe articulation, and supreme quality sculpts. The Legacy Edition series gives Batman lovers a unique array of characters inspired by the worlds of Batman, from pages of DC Comics to the Silver Screen to the battleground of Arkham City, and beyond. Each Legacy Edition figure is expertly-crafted by industry masters to ensure the highest standards of authenticity and collectibility.

Is it me, or does the Robin on the back of the blister card look like Colin from Super-Duper Toybox?

Look for these Legacy Ediiton figures, inspired by the Batman Arkham City Video game, in stores now.

I think this figure is fangasmic! From the packaging to the sclupting of the figure. Matttel did a great job.
