Let There Be Light In My Toy Display Cabinets

Batman TV series and Star Wars Micro Collection display cabinet. Photo: Batcave Toy Room
Lights, camera, action. Well, maybe just lights.

I had mentioned previously on Day 3 that I need to replace the bulbs on one of my glass cabinets and on Day 25 of my 31 Days to a Better Toy Collection Challenge that's just what I set out to do.

An End to a Good Thing with My Micro Collection Contact

Vintage Star Wars Micro Collection Action Playset from the Batcave Toy Room
Day 14 of my 31 Days to a Better Toy Collection Challenge brings the last round of recently received Star Wars Micro Collection action figures.

This last set of four figures completes the set of action figures for my Bespin Control Room action playset and the last set I will probably get from my former Kenner employee contact as he doesn't have the other die cast figures that I need.

Vintage Kenner Death Star World action playsets from the Batcave Toy Room
Open the blast doors! Open the blast doors!

I had a request from toy collector JBoypacman to see more of my Death Star Playsets. So, here's a lesson in ask and thy shall receive.

31 Days to a Better Toy Collection Challenge: Day 10

Echo Station Three-T-Eight. We have spotted Imperial Walkers!

Here's a peak at my now complete Hoth Turret Defense action playset from my Star Wars Micro Collection. My contact came through again with more figures to reinvigorate my micro collection. I also went ahead and kept my Rebel Soldiers from my "Build Your Armies" set figures together with others from this playset.

Target maximum fire power!

Well, my former Kenner employee contact came through and I received several mint condition die cast action figures for my Star Wars micro collection playsets.

31 Days to a Better Toy Collection Challange: How a Star Wars Micro Collection Comes Along - Day 5

Progress is mine.

I decided to stick to working on the curio cabinets in the Batcave Toy Room's auxiliary room, actually my home office, next to the toy room.

I gave the cabinets a thorough cleaning and worked on arranging my vintage Star Wars Micro Collection playsets.

31 Days to a Better Toy Collection: Star Wars Micro Collection Dispaly Cabinets...Maybe -Day 3

There just isn't enough room in the Batcave Toy Room for everything.

The pic above is the back wall in my home office. The office is actually next door to the Toy Room and serves as an auxiliary toy room that allows me more display room.

Dude, Where's My Batmobile!

I intended December to be Batmobile month here at the Batcave Toy Room, but with my Mom's health issues, family in town, my daughters birthday, and the upcoming holidays, I have not had the time to take pictures, write, and post articles. Also, just like The Boy Wonder, Colin, over at Super-Duper Toybox, I am really busy business wise. No complaints at all, but I have not been able to fulfill my goal.
