Video: A Day in the Life of a pet Vintage AT-AT

Fan films, whether they be Batman or Star Wars related, are always the best. I can't believe some of the creativity that is put into these short films.

I came across this brilliant homemade video showing a day in the life of a pet AT-AT called "AT-AT Day Afternoon." This video comes from the Iron Baby creator Patrick Boivin and uses a vintage Kenner AT-AT as the main character.

ABC 25th Anniversary Salute to Batman

There are so many appearances of Adam West and Burt Ward that I remember as a kid, but this was not one of them. This could be because I was probably about 3 years old when this ABC 25th Anniversary salute to Batman aired.

I love coming across footage like this. It's like finding a vintage Mego Batman action figure in mint condition. For an anniversary show or even an awards show, I think this little skit was well done with not only including Batman and Robin, but Batgirl too. It also included clips from the series and many guest star reactions to clips.

Was Darth Vader Crazy?

From CNN.com: What is Darth Vader's diagnosis?

French researchers posit that Vader exhibits six out of nine criteria for borderline personality disorder. Unstable moods, interpersonal relationships, and behaviors are all characteristics of this condition, according to the National Institutes of Mental Health. It affects 2 percent of adults, mostly young women.

His "infantile illusions of omnipotence" and "dysfunctional experiences of self and others" are also indicative of his condition at a early age.

It's funny how fictional characters like Darth Vader or Batman get analyzed by psychologists like they are really people. Oh, wait. They are real people.

Batman XXX: A Porn Parody DVD

We took a look at the first trailer for this a few months ago and it appears it is finally on sale...Batman XXX: A Porn Parody. This blog was designed to share my toy collection, but it also discusses things I remember from when I was a kid to what I find interesting in the Sci-fi realm. I have never owned a porno nor have I watched one in several years, but this porno parody interests me strangely.

From the looks of it the producers went all out on this one. From authentic costumes, Batmobile replica, and even using Bronson Cave as a location for the Batcave. If any thing check out the trailers. I found it interesting how they got around using the rights to Batman. We can't get the TV series on DVD, but we can get a Batman sex tape released. Go figure.
